Reception class enjoyed lots of different races today. Well done everyone.
Joel taught us all about electricity today and also how liquids react to each other. We did our own experiment and made a tub of slime!
A lovely afternoon with Year 4 sharing their storybooks with Reception. The Year 4’s were so proud to show what they had created in Design Technology.
Today we learned about farm animals, their babies and how to care for them.
We sang Liverpool songs on the waterfront and sketched the Liver Buildings.
We’ve been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and have watched our caterpillars grow and change over the last month. Today we handled the butterflies carefully as we set them free.
We’ve enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s platinum jubilee this week. We wore the Union Jack colours and had a special lunch together. Each class found out about a decade- we learned about the 1980s.
We’re celebrating Spring by dancing around our maypole during the month of May.
We’re so excited this week because our caterpillars have made chrysalises! We fascinated to see what happens next.
