Thank you to Oliver R for bringing in this wonderful box of fascinatingly fossils. We had a great time investigating the fossils and where they came from.
This week we took part in a sponsored walk for the Whitechapel Centre who support homeless people in Liverpool. We had great fun raising money for this wonderful cause.
Well done to all the Year 2 children who participated in our Easter bonnet parade, your entries were amazing! Ms McIlroy had a very tough job deciding on the winners. Congratulations to Shea, Honor, Myra and Ava who took home Easter eggs for their fantastic bonnets.
Year 2 have been celebrating their excellent attendance with a pizza party. Well done Year 2 Andy keep up the hard work!

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, each class has learnt a traditional tale, which we shared a special storytelling assembly. Congratulations to all the children for their fantastic performances!
Year 2 – The Three Little Pigs
Year 2 have really enjoyed making and eating pancakes for Shrove Tuesday.
We had lots of fun searching around our playground for facts about Kenya.
This afternoon we had a visit from Hazel, our community police officer. Hazel taught us the police alphabet which she uses everyday in her job and she challenged us to write our names using the code. At the end of the activity we were able to ask Hazel questions about her role as a police officer, it was very informative!
