We looked within our school environment, to group materials and the suitability of their use, based on their properties.
In Geography, year 5 looked at time zones.
In Year 5, we used scientific investigation to find out if all solids dissolve when put in water.
Cricket Competition
On Tuesday our Y5/6 cricket team competed in the Knowsley cricket competition at Prescot & Odessey Cricket ground. The children represented our school amazingly. They embodied the school characteristics of being proud, respectful, showing great team work and tried their very best. They won 4 out of 5 games and were placed 2nd . Mrs McCarten and Mrs Brown accompanied the children and were extremely proud of their achievements!
