St Josephs Athlete Event – Make A Donation
We’re very excited to be welcoming Craig McCann to the school. Craig was spotted by the British disabled Fencing Association in 2010, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2004 leaving Craig permanently disabled. Craig has some great achievements including reaching the quarter finals at the 2012 Olympics in London. Craig also entered the disciplines of Paracycling and Paratriathlon at the Rio Paralympics in 2016. Craig McCann will be leading a sponsored fitness circuit with all pupils, and will follow-up with a talk and question and answer session. The aim of the event is to inspire the pupils to take up sport generally, but just as importantly to encourage them to discover and then pursue their passion in life. Much of the money that is raised will be used to buy sports equipment for the school, while also supporting GB athletes.
