School Shakespeare Festival performing Macbeth

This year the children in our school took part in the School Shakespeare Festival performing Macbeth at the Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park. We are extremely proud of the children’s achievements and would like to thank them for their continued hard work.

The children in Year 5 and 6 took part in a drama session to support their upcoming performance of Macbeth.

World Book Day

We celebrated ‘World Book Day’ by inviting parents in to read with their children to promote bedtime reading.

Reading Ambassadors

Meet our ‘Reading Ambassadors’ they help Mr Brooks to organise reading events in school and also pass on children’s reading recommendations for our school and class libraries.

New Reading Books

The children are all very excited about the new reading books we have purchased for our class reading areas.

Year 1 – Reading Competition Winner

Frankie was the winner of the Year 1 reading competition for the Autumn term, he won this book for reading the most books in his class. We are very proud of Frankie!

Year 3 Library Visit

The children in Year 3 visited Huyton Library, the children were able to join the library during their visit.

Year 5 & 6 Chatterbooks – Book Club

Our Year 5 and 6 book club ‘Chatterbooks’ takes place on a Monday and Tuesday night!
