The children made pancakes today to celebrate Shrove Tuesday and the beginning of Lent

The children made pancakes today to celebrate Shrove Tuesday and the beginning of Lent. They worked very hard measuring and mixing the ingredients, and we talked together about what ingredients we need to make pancakes.

We also discussed Lent and the journey it represents. We spoke about how it is a time of preparation and reflection, and how we can prepare ourselves during this special season.
