History – Year 3 were visited by the Stone Age man who brought real artefacts for them to handle.
Year 3 went on a shadow hunt and investigated how shadows are formed – Science.
River Alt Trip
As part of our Geography topic about Rivers, we visited Huyton Wetlands, and various parts of the River Alt to discover the source of the river and we travelled right up to the mouth of the river, in Hightown. We stopped at Knowsley Community College and Croxteth Park along the way, to be able to recognise various stages of the river and we discussed how it had been impacted over time”.
