Letter from staff: Mr Newstead
Our farewell picnic on the field
Our whole school enjoyed a farewell picnic on the field today. We stayed in our bubbles safely as we gave Mr Newstead cards from each class. We all wore our rainbow bracelets and Mr Newstead reminded us all that it’s a symbol of hope. “Good bye and good luck Mr Newstead, you’ll be missed by our whole school community.”
From Tiny Acorns Mighty Oak Trees Grow
As we say goodbye to Mr Newstead after 17 amazing years, he planted an oak tree with our Reception children so that they can nurture it and look after it as they grow too. Many thanks to Mr Newstead for everything he’s done for our school, we’ll all miss him very much.
