Our Reception children enjoyed making an Easter garden in our outdoor area as part of our Come and See RE topic.
We’re very proud of our Come and See display boards which are helping the children to learn more about Lent and Easter.
Our Mini Vinnies children meet to talk, share ideas and concerns and pray about doing good works in the community.
During Lent this year our Mini Vinnies decided to raise money for CAFOD by holding a non uniform day. Each class also has a CAFOD collection box to raise money and awareness of their good work during Lent.
As part of book week each class have decorated their door in the theme of the book they are working on. Which is your favourite?
The children in Year 2 retold the story of Maundy Thursday and Jesus washing the disciple’s feet. They were able to describe the events and what they symbolised.
The theme for this year’s celebrations was the book ‘The day the crayons quit’. The children came to school dressed in the colour of one of the crayons. Parents then visited school in the afternoon to read with their children.
