Biggest Girls Football Event KS2
Year 4 had a great afternoon taking part in an investigation about the Digestive System
Year 4 had a great afternoon taking part in an investigation about the Digestive System. We used food and different resources to re enact what happens when you eat. Lots of fun and a bit sickly at times!!!!
Writing sentences
Reception this term have been working super hard on writing sentences independently. The children are writing about what they can see on the Farm.
Sunflower seeds
We all planted a sunflower seed today. We’ll look after them now and watch them grow over the next few weeks.
World Book Day
Reception had a beautiful day celebrating World Book Day. As a class we discussed our favourite books and stories. We even got to perform our poem ‘Funnybones’ and drew pictures of our characters.
Reception and KS1 took part in The Biggest Ever Girls Football Event.
Reception had so much fun this week learning all about doubles
Reception had so much fun this week learning all about doubles. The children got creative and created beautiful butterflies using their knowledge of doubles. Children found objects around the class and linked it to their previous learning. Wonderful learning in Reception.
Chicks
This term Reception have been learning all about the life cycle of a chicken. This links into the story that we’re covering this term called ‘The Journey Home’. The children have been watching the chicks hatch 1 by 1 and they’ve cared for them with so much love. The excitement in our class as the children held the chicks was memorable!
