We enjoyed our day at Crosby beach
We enjoyed our day at Crosby beach. We wrote our names in the sand, made sandcastles, took part in races and found out about Anthony Gormley’s Iron Men
Year 3 have been practising running stitch, back stitch and whip stitch
Year 3 have practised skills such as using line, cross-hatching and the impasto technique
Year 3 have practised skills such as using line, cross-hatching and the impasto technique. They need the unit during and painting their own pictures. They worked on their watercolour technique and experimented with colour mixing. We took Van Gogh’s sunflower as our inspiration however the children’s paintings show great individuality and creativity.

As part of their Geography topic ‘At the Farm’, Year 1 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Raby House Farm on the Wirral
As part of their Geography topic ‘At the Farm’, Year 1 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Raby House Farm on the Wirral. The class went on a nature walk to explore the environment and local flora and fauna, a trailer ride to see the livestock in the fields and took a stroll through the crops.
Sharing out finished books with Reception. They loved our books and we got lots of thumbs up!
