This half term in PE our school unit is Dance
Year 1 Materials
We have just begun our new topic of materials in science.
Today we classified different materials into groups.
The children enjoyed this practical investigation and were able to find lots of different materials in the classroom.
We enjoyed learning the days of the week today in Spanish
Year 4 conducting a survey to find out about the different community groups we belong to in our class
In year 3 we explored and evaluated a range of light up signs
In year 3 we explored and evaluated a range of light up signs. We investigated the structure of boxes and how they could be made stronger. The pupils thought about who they would make a light up sign for and what it’s purpose would be. All pupils used their skills of marking, measuring and cutting. They went on to make light up signs following a design-criteria – we hope you enjoyed using the light up sign over the Christmas holidays.

Batman wants to create a larger shadow of his bat sign. However, he doesn’t know whether to bring the bat shape nearer to or further away from his powerful lamp.
