Reception have been exploring the meaning behind Advent and how birthdays are waited for and celebrated. The children role played a birthday for Sammy the dog. We celebrated by having cake, juice, singing and dancing. We decorated the classroom to celebrate the party. The children explored how birthdays make us feel.
