Superhero Day
God said, “Let the earth produce living animals according to their kind: cattle, creatures that move along the ground, wild animals according to their kind”. So, it was. God created the wild animals according to their kind, and everything that creeps along the ground according to its kind. God saw that it was good. A reading from the book of Genesis (1:24-26).
Year 1 children loved making their bird sculptures in art today. They drew observational drawings and used mark making to add detail then drew one of their design on to foamboard and created their sculptures. Well done children!
Children really enjoyed making their fruit salad today. They researched, taste tested, prepared and made their fruit salads then enjoyed eating them the most!
Year 1 and Year 2 had a wonderful time performing at their singing concert. They learnt their songs and actions, performed loudly and quietly and also tried something KS2 children normally do, singing in polyphony. The children were phenomenal.
Year 4 have been practicing their food skills by learning how to cut, peel, cop and grate carefully to prepare a seasonal salad. We then got to eat them afterwards!
