Year 5 enjoyed investigating materials and their properties and finding which materials were soluble or insoluble
We had sculptor Martin Heron in, showing us how to make sand castings
Year 1 Sports Day
Children had so much fun taking part in our sports day. They raced in the bean bag race, obstacle race and the sprint. We were so proud of all children for taking part and having fun.
We enjoyed using Atlases to locate towns with different name endings
KS2 Sports Day
Y6 have been Exploring Identity through art. We have used layering techniques with different materials
We loved our skateboarding session
Y2 Skateboarding
We had a fantastic time yesterday learning how to skateboard. We were shown how to jump on and off the board and also do a trick! Mrs McCarten was very impressed with our perseverance and listening skills.
The children were lucky to experience a skateboarding lesson in school yesterday. They had so much fun!
