Den Building
Y6 have gone all Bear Grylls and have been working as a team gathering supplies to build a den. Rest assured if you ever get lost in the woods your son or daughter can now build you a shelter!
Bottle Rocket Challenge
Y6 had to use junk materials to make a rocket that would travel the furthest. Everybody then tested their rockets to find the winner. Can you guess who won?
SETTLING IN
Y6 have all arrived safe and are excited to start the adventure. Beds made and all unpacked ready to start our first activity.

Making double arrangements
In Year 2 we have been using our fingers and tens frames to represent doubles. We have noticed that even numbers are all made from 2 equal groups.
Black History Month Celebrations
Year 1 children have explored Misty Copeland’s life and how she was the first Black woman to become a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre. She has taught the children to dare to dream and be resilient when it comes to things they want in life.
