What a fantastic day we’ve had for World Book Day. The children have made a super effort and all look amazing as their favourite characters. We’ve read lots of stories and studied ‘How to Catch a Star’ by Oliver Jeffers. Share a book with your child tonight and enjoy the magic of reading together.

Author Visit – Andy Winrow the author of Captain Magic Beard and The Tiger Eel
We were so lucky to have a visit this week from author Andy Winrow. He came into our school to read his brand new book Captain Magic Beard and The Tiger Eel. We loved listening to the adventures of Captain Magic Beard on Albatross Bay. Andy talked about how he had written the book with his little boy Alby during lockdown. This has really inspired us all to what to be an author or even an illustrator!
