Remembrance Day
In Reception we held a minutes silence on 11th November and made poppies to remind us about the brave soldiers who have died in wars.

We have been reading a book called Planet Rescue and finding out about ways we can look after our planet.
We Love Reading!
Our reception children are enjoying reading in lots of different places. They’ve been reading in our library, in our outdoor learning area and in our classroom. They are reading fiction and non-fiction books too.
From Tiny Acorns Mighty Oak Trees Grow
As we say goodbye to Mr Newstead after 17 amazing years, he planted an oak tree with our Reception children so that they can nurture it and look after it as they grow too. Many thanks to Mr Newstead for everything he’s done for our school, we’ll all miss him very much.

Our Reception children role played travelling to Bethlehem today and agreed that it was a long journey!
