During Lent all classes have been collecting money for Cafod. Well done everyone and many thanks to our families.
Reception 22/23 Archive
Easter Garden
We made an Easter garden and sang a song about Jesus rising from the dead.
Chicks
We’ve been so excited finding out about hatchlings and watching our chicks hatch.
Growing
We’ve been finding out about germination and how to grow a sunflower. We’ve taken turns to water our seeds and watched them grow each day.
World Book Day Storytelling (Reception)
As part of our World Book Day celebrations, each class has learnt a traditional tale, which we shared a special storytelling assembly. Congratulations to all the children for their fantastic performances!
Reception – The Little Red Hen
World Book Day
We had a wonderful day talking about our favourite book characters and making book marks. We read lots of books and did role play too.
Pancake Day
We enjoyed making and eating pancakes today. We also wrote a list of ingredients and of our favourite toppings too.
Hand Hygiene Visit
We had visitors with a special machine to show how well we wash our hands. We learned how to wash then thoroughly and carefully.
Chinese New Year
We have enjoyed finding out about the Chinese culture. We watched the lion dancers and used chopsticks in our banquet.
Police Visit
Police officer Hazel visited us to explain her role and about how the police keep us safe.
