Raft Building
Another exciting day – today we had to learn how to build our own raft before sailing it out onto the lake. Some brave people even jumped in!
Archery
Y6 all tried their hand at archery this afternoon. We had some very talented archers – and some who thought the grass was the target! Great morning had by all.
Shelter building and teamwork skills
Den Building
Y6 have gone all Bear Grylls and have been working as a team gathering supplies to build a den. Rest assured if you ever get lost in the woods your son or daughter can now build you a shelter!
Bottle Rocket Challenge
Y6 had to use junk materials to make a rocket that would travel the furthest. Everybody then tested their rockets to find the winner. Can you guess who won?
SETTLING IN
Y6 have all arrived safe and are excited to start the adventure. Beds made and all unpacked ready to start our first activity.
Crate Stack
Y6 enjoyed their first activity here at Colomendy. They had to work as a team to create the highest tower.
