During a period of school closure (either a local lockdown or when a class has to self-isolate due to a positive case) we will continue to provide your child with the essential resources to continue with their learning whilst at home. We understand that this is a difficult time for both children and adults and endeavour to provide support at these times with regular contact through Seesaw or Tapestry, text messages, school website and phone calls.
Your child’s teacher will upload each day’s lessons onto the child’s seesaw account, this will consist of a link to online videos and follow up activities for a variety of lessons. Additional tasks may also be set depending on the child’s age or ability. The links will open automatically when clicked using a tablet. If you are using a laptop or PC please download google chrome as these videos need this updated version.
Included on this page are further websites to support your child’s learning and other resources which you may find useful.
If a class is sent home to isolate, we will also send home a pack containing workbooks in case the children have trouble logging onto the online resources and an exercise book for them to record any work they are asked to do – these will be returned to school to be marked. If you or your child needs to ask questions about their work please send a message via Tapestry / See-Saw or email school at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Resources found within ‘Home Learning’ will be updated when appropriate.
